Corporate Responsibility is an integral part of our corporate strategy. With “Living Responsibility” as our motto, we focus on disaster management (GoHelp), education (GoTeach), and environmental protection (GoGreen), and support employee volunteerism (Global Volunteer Day, Living Responsibility Fund)

Smart, comprehensive prevention measures and a state of constant preparedness are absolutely indispensable to ensuring fast and effective assistance in the event of a disaster. At the core of the Group-wide GoHelp programme is the strategic disaster management partnership with the United Nations (UN), which has made Deutsche Post DHL Group an important player in the worldwide humanitarian community. When called upon by the UN, we support global relief efforts by volunteering our logistics expertise, our global network and the personal commitment of our individual employees.

The Goal of our Group-wide GoTeach programme is to improve educational opportunity and employability of young people, especially those from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. As one of the world’s largest employers, we rely on access to highly qualified employees around the world. Furthermore in today’s rapidly changing world, education promotes greater stability and prosperity – both for individuals and for the societies and markets

Sustainability has long since become one of the most important issues of our time. Our contribution to greater sustainability around the world is green logistics. To realize a more sustainable future we think it’s important to think big. Our new climate protection target is to reduce all logistics-related emissions to zero by the year 2050.

                            Our Employees

DHL owes its success to the commitment, creativity and expertise of its approximately 510,000 employees around the world. The high level of motivation among our employees can be attributed to a corporate culture founded on openness, trust and mutual respect. Future-oriented and sustainable human resources development is key to ensuring our long-term business success, as is the creation of an attractive work environment free from prejudice, discrimination and stereotyping.
